Studio A Yoga has a variety of yoga instructors with various styles and background experience.

  • Dhanu Rajanikanth obtained her yoga training and a certificate from the prestigious school of Vivekanada University, accredited by Government of India. Dhanalakshmi has practiced yoga for the past thirty years and in addition she has been teaching yoga since 1997 and is widely recognized for her skills as an advanced yogi.

  • Meagan Litton - After moving to Greenwood in 2006, Meagan began to practice yoga as a form of exercise. Having taken years of gymnastics growing up, yoga was an easy transition. However, she soon realized there is more to yoga than the physical practice and began to translate the yoga philosophy into a daily lifestyle.

    Meagan completed the teacher training program through Southern Star in Oxford, Mississippi in 2011 and is Yoga Alliance Certified. As a certified yoga instructor, Meagan enjoys teaching Vinyasa style classes where students can learn to stretch and strengthen their bodies.

  • Penny Dunn - has been practicing yoga for 10 years and currently teaching for four years at Studio A.

    Her instructor training was with Kent Bond and Sven Holcomb with lectures from Ganga White and Tracey Rich at White Lotus in Santa Barbara, California in 2007. She received a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certificate and continues her education by attending workshops in the Tennessee and Mississippi area. Penny's motto," Is try it, you might like it, it is the hardest thing I've ever done and I just love it!"

  • Toni Powers is a 200 hour certified & registered yoga instructor certified by Yoga Alliance. She teacher trained with Cyndi Lee of Om Yoga in New York and has been teaching for 13 years.

    Over the years she has attended many conferences and workshops with internationally renowned instructors. These include, Shiva Rea, Judith Lassister, Chris Coniaris, and many others.

    For Toni, yoga isn't just a physical practice but also a mental and spiritual one. Yoga is practice for life.

  • Erin Mulligan -is a dancer and choreographer and has been teaching yoga for the past 12 years. She runs Shift Movement Arts Center in Indianola and is currently a core artist with Communities in Schools in Greenwood, Mississippi - teaching dance, yoga and meditation to young people throughout the Delta.

  • Liza Jones - Liza started practicing yoga over ten years ago with her father. Her practice deepened after college when she began to try different styles like Bikram, and eventually returning to Vinyasa Flow, for which she received her 100-hour certification to teach in January 2012. She received her 200-hour certification in August 2013 with Frog Lotus Yoga International in Indonesia. Liza is passionate about yoga because she enjoys watching the transformative effects pass through body and mind, and finally awake the soul.
